Location

At 250 meters above sea level, the site offers an exceptional panorama: from the Ardeche Gorges to the Cevennes through the plains of the southern Ardeche and Ceze valleys.

The village, built on a hill, is protected to the northwest by a hill rising to 500 meters. The site offers all the benefits of a Mediterranean climate. The vegetation includes oak, scrubland of cade wood, boxwood, broom (shrub) and farmland dominated by vineyards, olive trees groves, cereals and fruit trees orchards.

From the North

Access through the A7 Motorway (of the Sun), three possible exits:

• Exit n°17 - Montélimar Nord
  Crossing of the Rhône in the Teil (70 km away from Bessas). Villeneuve-de-Berg. Ruoms. Vallon-Pont-D'Arc located 15 km away.
• Exit n°18 - Montélimar Sud
  Pierrelatte. Crossing of the Rhône in Bourg-St Andéol (45 km away from Bessas). St Remèze. Vallon-Pont-D'Arc.
• Exit n°19 - Bollène
  Crossing of the Rhône in Pont St Esprit (40 km away from Bessas). Aiguèze. Barjac located km away.

From the Centre West regions

Access through the A71 Motorway, Paris - Clermont-Ferrand, then by the A75 Motorway:

• Exit n° 20 - Le Puy-en-Velay, Brioude
  Follow the Aubenas Direction by the RN102 (crossing of the Chavade pass).

From the South

Access through the A9 Motorway:

• Exit n° 25 - Nîmes-Ouest toward Alès
  Follow the expressway(N106) up to Alès then follow the Salindres direction, then Barjac.
